The photographic studio of Lehnert & Landrok, active in Tunisia and Cairo in the early years of the twentieth century, specialized in producing images of the landscapes, architecture and people of North Africa. Made in large part for a European audience, the work was originally distributed through a series of monographs, as well as being sold from their own shops in the form of original prints, heliogravures.
