Marinus (Rinus) van der Neut, 1910-1999. Attended the evening classes at the Hague Academy (Royal Academy of Fine Arts). Made study trips to France and Corsica. Work consisted of etchings, lithographs, drawings, murals, ceramics and paintings. Work in the municipal museum of The Hague, among others. Was a member of van Pulchri Studio and Verve. Received the Royal Subsidy in 1935. Initially he painted people and animals in an expressionist style, but from the fifties he only painted abstract compositions.
