Christiaan de Moor (1899-1981) Painted, drew and made watercolours of portraits, figures, still lifes and landscapes. Initially he did this in the style of business realism, later (after 1945) more in the style of abstract expressionism. He is considered to belong to the New Hague School. De Moor was also a designer of tapestries, murals and stained glass windows. After 1966, De Moor went to live and work in Italy, where he was greatly inspired by the Italian landscape.
