Roelof Roel) Frankot 1911-1986, was a Dutch painter. Frankot thought of photography. In 1930 he started painting. Later he had a strong relationship with the Cobra movement, and his artworks strongly resemble some of the art from the Cobra movement. They are very abstract and spontaneous paintings in strong colors.
